Perhaps we will see not only a huge increase in the pace of boring tunnels created and actively used there, but also the full self driving thing tested out in the public realm.
I reckon that China will be the test-bed for FSD, Loop and perhaps even Hyperloop before being rolled out elsewhere. This way the safety of it can be proven beyond doubt to regulators before it is implemented in the US and Europe.
