Break-In Period

I know this sounds like a dumb question as break-in periods are for components found in ICE vehicles. I raise the question for the U-joints which seem to be the weakest component of the drivetrain. Is it safe to launch our Model S/X in Plaid mode in cheetah stance right out of the dealer driveway when we take delivery or would it be prudent to wait a few hundred miles first? Not sure if the drivetrain components operate any better after some miles are put on or not.

There isn't a need for break-in. The only thing that needs attention are the brakes, ie. bed them in properly before hitting ludicrous speed. Lots of threads on this...

Is there any kind of recommended "break-in" steps?

I know with ICE cars some people recommend to drive it easy the first 1000 miles and do an oil change after that. Some also recommend to bed the brakes (stop very hard a few times). Is there anything like that for Model 3 or Tesla's in general? Like should we avoid doing a full 100% charge for...

Yes please bed the brakes. You will be VERY thankful. It also takes about 200 miles for the new tires to wear out their manufacturing compounds.
