Look how far down hill we have gone. There was a time when we could lift the car from the bumper to fix a flat tire. Now we can't even drive in the rain with it.
I’ve watched and rewatched this video numerous times. I don’t see a puddle so dangerously deep that should be capable of causing this kind of damage.
I know it doesn’t rain or snow in California so the Tesla engineers are probably befuddled by what they are even looking at. It was an act of god, all right. Mysterious bumper-ripping gods that are shorting Tesla.
Obviously, it wasn’t fixed on this car. How many others out there have the original defective design and haven’t seen a puddle? It doesn’t matter how many cars don’t have this problem.
Make that IF I had my Mercedes, Porsche or Audi that I have previously owned it would have never happened. 50 years of car ownership and it never happened.
