I've had my Model X for a little over a week now and it's ready for a bath. I live in the Peninsula and take my X5 to the Auto Pride car wash in Belmont but am wondering if there is a better solution for my MX.

Curious as to what others do in this area to keep their Tesla's shiny?

    Thanks!

See Joe at OCDetailing (www.bayareadetails) (opened new Fremont shop) and talk to him about protective coatings and films/wraps. He has done maybe 1000 S and 200 X by now.

+100. Joe has done several cars for me and his work is second to none.

Thanks for the info! Fremont is a bit of a haul for me. I found welcome in Redwood City. Does anyone have any experience with them?

without me calling, do you know the prices for the coating? i'm in southern CA and i found one shop that wanted $1000-9000 depending on the extend of coating.

...depends where you live...sucks if you are in the immediate East Bay area, but better if you are down on the peninsula (and when I communicated with Joe recently he noted that more of his customers were from the peninsula).
