SC just changed my cabin filters. I asked if there was a change in material to avoid the odor that so many have complained about.

Advisor claims the replacement cabin filters are a different shape/thickness, and are no longer pressing up against the condensor, so the tendency to create odor is eliminated.

Can anyone confirm this? They didn't keep the old filters out of my car, so I have no way of comparing.

The original part number was 1107681-00-A. They have a yellow color on one side.

I cannot confirm a difference in thickness.
