I picked mine up in Santa Barbara 2 weeks ago..they didn't attach the front plate, it was in the trunk. But it looks like it's meant to stick on, not drill.. Haven't done it yet.,. Figured I'll wait until I get real plates.

Another data point - Ordered 10/14 ("~2 weeks for delivery"), one "finish your profile" email from random SA a few weeks ago, radio silence until confirm pickup dates email this morning. Checked my account just now, and the MVPA is populated, and it's waiting for payment.

I also received the “Confirm Your Delivery Availability” unavailability form today at 1:21PM pacific for the 22nd-31st.

Wait, you marked ALL the days? So you're not available at all to pick it up after the 22nd?
Side note, I just realized if you click the link in the email again, it takes you to just your homepage. I think you get one chance to choose your days properly for unavailability....

Ordered 10/20 (LR AWD, White/Black, Aero wheels) for pick up in Marina del Rey. Got the "Days-not-available-for-delivery" email this morning. Got the request to make payment this evening. No VIN. (With all the false VIN experiences folks are posting not sure that even matters.)

Found these today on Reddit. It looks like Tesla has a staging area setup in North Hollywood / LA. It looks like they are trying to build up a lot of cars so that they can deliver the cars very quickly.

drove past the Burbank DC yesterday at around 8:30am and saw a huge group of people there and the lot absolutely filled with model 3s.

Beginning to get slightly concerned. Ordered on Nov 2nd. No availability email or vin.
I am hopeful most of our cars are in lots like this. Last spring I had seen hundreds in a lot off Dyer Rd and the 55 Fwy in Santa Ana, and perhaps it was for a similar staging purpose.

Same car here. I ordered on 10/28 at Glendale Americana with delivery at Burbank. I listed availability through 12/26, including Christmas. After that I am not available. Crossing my fingers that I can still get my car.
