Yes, to be clear, if there happens to be a ton of vehicular traffic updates, even at 10pm, say due to a road closure, the nav/map struggles to update if I pinch and zoom. Usually ok if nav is off a d I'm not using the traffic overlay.

I always have the navigator on. Most of my driving is a couple hour trips and I want to know if there are issues and what my options are. It's usually exploring options when the backup occurs, even if there are no traffic problems. Sometimes I just want to see my choices, or where I might charge, or where I can get food. The other night I forgot to add a waypoint for a restaurant and pulled over to see what other choices I had. There were pretty much none, which the map didn't help with because it shows every restaurant, even if they closed hours ago. So I reversed course and back tracked to a diner I knew would be open.
