Can non-Tesla EVs charge at a CCS-2 SuperCharger?

Hi,

What happens when a non-Tesla EV plugs into CCS-2 SuperCharger?

Although the physical connectors for CCS-2 are similar, the Tesla is missing two of five pins, the SuperCharger has to negotiate with the vehicle for billing. There is no external mechanism to bill non-Tesla EVs. So what happens when one is plugged into a CCS-2 type SuperCharger?

Short version: Right now, nothing happens.

Long version: In the future, if Tesla want to, it would make it easy for Tesla to open up their network to the public (in CCS2 markets) since no plug changes will be needed. But that's probably a way off.

Are you talking about European Model 3 cars with CCS2 sockets and European Superchargers, which now support CCS2.
I ask because you are in Alabama, and there aren't any CCS2 Superchargers in North America and no CCS2-enabled EVs anyway. Note: The CCS EVs here are type 1 aka CCS aka CCS1.
