I used Sentry mode last night, and got a notification of a few events. If I tap on the ℹ︎(for Information), nothing happens. I'm sure those are just events of someone walking near the car. To view those events, do I take the USB out and look on a computer? Also, how do I eject the USB drive safely? Thanks.
Guessing the ability to see sentry video on the big screen is in the top 5 'duh of course it should work that way' things.
With an Android phone, you could use an OTG adapter and the Play Store app TeslaCam / Sentry Reviewer to watch the clips on your phone. The app is made by @snailboat one of the forum member here. I used to watch every single event on my phone as soon as I got back to the car. It was fun... for a while. I stopped doing that now. If I ever see any damage to the car, then I will check them I guess.
There is a product called the Roadie that allows you to look at footage without having to pull a drive out. It has been discussed in a couple of threads, mostly in the View Sentry and Dashcam footage on your iPhone thread starting at the link.
