Car Suddenly won't charge above 29 amps (M3LR)

Week old Model 3 Long Range, charging off a Gen 1 UMC (from an old Model S, capable of max 40 amps) plugged into a 14-50 outlet on a 50 amp breaker. Car was originally charging at 40 amps no problem. Today I was messing around with the Tessie app while the car was charging, and I briefly turned on an Off-Peak charging timer, which caused the car to stop charging. I immediately undid that option and the car started to charge again at 40 amps, but the amperage had fluctuated quite a bit due to that Tessie feature being enabled and disabled in rapid succession. The car then suddenly capped the charging amperage at my house to 29 amps. The plus sign to increase it beyond 29 amps is greyed out, both in the car and the app. I did try to reboot the car (held down both scroll wheels), unplugged and replugged the UMC to the car multiple times. What can I do to get 40 amp charging back at my house? Thanks.
