Went out to install the laminate covering on the console and popped open the door. You know how sometimes it doesn't pop all the way or you don't get a good grip on the handle. Well I opened it by the door edge and found a sharp edge along the top of the door. It sliced my finger open like a sharp edge on a tomato. I will get some black out tape and cover it.
Meanwhile the blood and the cut got me some sympathy from my wife and she did the install. She is much more meticulous than I so it all worked out. Highly recommend the woodgrain laminate. Great match and easy to do, especially if you get your wife to do it!!
