テスラさんとしてはあまり共有して欲しくないかも知れませんが、納車3ヶ月経って、特に何か連絡が来たわけでもないですし、シェアしたほうが良さそうなのでスレにしてみます。自分が覚えてるところだけ、、

まだオーナーでない方、CHAdeMOアダプターをあまりお使いでない方へ。私の経験ではおおよそ、4つから3つのうち、1つのチャデモ急速充電器では、テスラのチャデモアダプターとの互換性の問題により、充電ができない問題が確認されています。一部高速道路など重要な場所、河口湖など皆様がお使いになりそうなところで問題が出てますので、余裕を持っていただければと思います。

English: this thread is to collect charging spot information where you were NOT able to charge your Model S with the CHAdeMO adapter. Please feel free to ask questions or report your experiences. There seems to be one in three or four spots that is not Tesla compatible.

I sent email to EVsmart to add the Aso-Kumamoto Airport. There's one weak CHAdeMO charger there, but I got 18kW while I waited to pick someone up. I learned about at the EV.gogo.gs site, so the data missing from my email must be online.

I suggest you make a free Google Map augmented site, like what lx3h made for Hong Kong:

You can make different colors, depending on the status. You can also include (like lx3h did), how well parking lots work for the Model S (being as large as it is). Japan has the same problems as Hong Kong, for a large car like the Model S, maybe even worse, so I suggest you consider not only charging, but also parking lot suitability for this kind of car.

Curious when the ChaDeMo comes to Hong Kong, how it will work or not. There are so few ChaDeMo in Hong Kong anyway, if some or even all of those don't work then ... forget it!

I see your point.

The reason for the list in Hong Kong is that we face two problems:

1) Car I charge or not, if so, how fast? Openchargemap.org (OCM) or the "open charge map" app will tell you

2) Can the Tesla fit inside, can I get around the corners without scraping, can I get in and out of the car while parked?

OCM won't say anything about car size suitability. In the USA, Australia and I guess - Europe - not so much of a problem, but in Japan and Hong Kong where focus is on compact and crammed, it IS indeed a problem.

I understood.
For 1, we have a few charge map apps that have info on charging stations, but they don't have Tesla specific info at least as of now.
For 2, as a Tokyo resident I personally feel much less needs for the parking size, because it is apparent that older mechanical parkings won't fit Teslas, and very popular outdoor "coin parkings" are by law have some standard sizes. The problem would be, ironically, the newer, larger mechanical parkings. I think there are less than 20 of them, and I created another thread for that.

You are lucky in that regard, that it is regulated. It seems that in Hong Kong, each parking lot is following their own design and standards - hence we need that list to warn us. One I visited yesterday was so tight that I needed to fold the mirrors in, just to get past the card reader at entry (the exit was wider).

I was in Sapporo over Christmas and saw a single ChaDeMo at the airport, close to the observation centre. I am curious to hear more about your daily challenges, and how they compare to Hong Kong.

Wow that sounds difficult - so all big car owners and drivers have issues with those tiny parkings...

Re daily challenges I guess it's only the compatibility issues. I always need to think about backup CHAdeMO stations. Always try to avoid Nissan, and expect errors with chargers on certain highway routes. If you absolutely need to charge a large amount urgently just stay in the car and initiate retry upon error, repeat charging. Escape when smoke

「道の駅西山公園」の職員の方にとってもエラーとなったのは初めて（多分テスラの充電も初めて）のようでした。エラーが出たあとにアダプターも外してもう一度すべての手順をやり直しましたがダメでした。なおこの数日前に立ち寄った「道の駅越前」の充電器もニチコンで、恐らく型番も同じものだったと思いますが、こちらは何の問題もなく充電（22kWhくらい）できました。外気温（３度〜５度）、気候（くもり）、バッテリー残量（50%〜60%）は、どちらもほぼ同じです。強いて言えば、エラーが出たときの方がそこに至るまでの走行距離がかなり短かく、かつその直前まで屋外の駐車場に数日ほど停めており、数十センチほど雪も積もっていたので、クルマ（バッテリー）自体がかなり冷えていたかもしれません。これが偶々なのか、再現性がある事象なのかはわかりませんが。。。

普段は都内なのでスーパーチャージャーに頼ってますが、そうできないエリアでの急速充電器に関する情報はとても重要かつ貴重なので、できる限り共有しつつ、なんとか打開策を見出したいところですね。

はい、おそらく互換性問題は、タイミングや充電器内部のソフトウェアのバージョン等によっても異なる気がしています。テスラさんがしっかり解決してくれない限り、一つ一つ調べた情報しか当てにならないと思います。
今後もぜひ、情報共有をお願いします。
