First post for me here, I have been watching for a few months now. Ordered a MY SR on 25/09/2021, delivery is confirmed to be on 25/11/2021 with the original 6 to 10 week plan, MIC car for delivery in China (Expat living in China)
Interesting thing I noticed today is the change in website specs 2021 vs 2022
2021 Range 515 / 0-100 5.6s
2022 Range 545 / 0-100 6.9s
Was wondering is this related to hardware or purely software and calibration. Also noted changed to the assessment standard from NEDC to CLTC (China WLTC) which I’m told is more friendly to BEV (CLTC) and worse to gas cars, does this explain the reduced acceleration to match the lower test speed in CLTC / WLTC method? I would be interested if anyone has an opinion for Tesla model Y base model, my local 4s shop (dealer) has said it’s now named as model Y RWD. Do you think any other hardware changes 2021 to 2022 MIC MY will be implemented and if so what ?
