Charging beyond the set limit

An odd thing happened on charging my MS 90 at home. I set the limit to 80%, but using the Tesla charging adaptor it charged to 84%. As I look at the charge screen on my phone the green line extends beyond the white limit line.

The only thing a bit different is I started a charging session first, it was around 30%, then went to my car and changed the limit from my previous setting of 90% down to 80%.

This makes he nervous. I feel I now need to keep an eye on it while charging. If not perhaps I might find it at 100%!

Anyone else experience this issue? Never happened to me before.

It happens here and there, usually by 3-5%. Probably related to some post-charging battery balancing process or similar.

It’s not something to worry about.

Thanks for the info. First time in 4 years I've seen this. I thought it might be a recent "bad" update. I'll keep an eye open, but it is comforting to know that when it happens is usually around 5% or less.
