I think the probability for the person to win in court are really tiny. Most probably he just want to put some pressure over the company by media coverage so Tesla could pay him to let it go.

- First dispute was rejected because the trademark was invalid. But according to the Trademark Office if there is no settlement the decision can be escalated to Intermediate People's Court(higher level court)
- Drastic decline in the amount for compensation. The first attempt he wanted $30 million now the amount has declined to $3 million.
