Clean Technica Article: Revisiting The Elusive $35,000 Tesla Model 3

Two quick thoughts:

I had hoped the $35k variant would not be a major departure from the base vehicle currently produced, except it would come with a smaller battery. The article sure makes it sound like the interior, seats, radio, and etc will all be different. If there is the ability to upgrade the interior (PUP) (obviously raining the price over $35k) which I had planned on all along .... then I am still "in the game."

But right now, I sitting on the sidelines waiting for Tesla to improve the QC. I'm not interested in a new vehicle whose first trip is a return to the SC for corrections.

So much of the article is about profitability. How can Tesla possibly make a profit when warranty work is badly out of control?
