A great client was lucky enough to have a full coverage clear bra that helped him prevent paint damage on his rear drivers side door. Tos prevented damage is just one of the reasons a full coverage clear bra is so important since the future resale value has been maintained due to all factory paint and not having to pay for painting at present which could have been fairly costly on a Tesla.

Do you see any difference between film and film+ceramic? What happens when ceramic on film gets old? Does it yellow the film?

mid anything the ceramic coating on top of the film will make it look like a freshly waxed vehicle and makes it super easy to clean.

when the ceramic wears off it basically losses the ability for you to clean big fits etc... off very simply but won’t hurt the film. This is why it’s recommended to add a boost type of product every so often after washing to help it last longer. After some time you’d also want to have another coating added, say 2-3 years down the road, of course depending on how the vehicle is cared for and parked etc...

Quality modern film don’t yellow or fade anymore and if they did it’s warranted for 10 years and the film gets replaced for free. Yellowing was a problem with all old films and can still happen on the cheaper modern films and why so important to be sure a quality film is used for installation.
