Clicking Sound when in EAP in stop & go ttaffic

noticed today a clicking sound coming from the car in very bad stop and go traffic when EAP is engaged. The sound appears when the car has to make eithe an acceleration or come to a full stop. What’s odd is the noise fully disappears when I take over and drive the car in the exact same manner.

Has anyone else had the same experience and if so do we know what the noise is?

Yes my car does this as it manipulates the brake pedal for EAP. Service said it was normal.

Yep, I get that too. Clicks and soft clunking in stop and go. Worst when you gently throttle up to narrow the gap between you and the stopped car in front. Also hear it briefly when turning on autopilot from hold mode.

Hear the same thing when coming to a complete stop with EAP on, sounds like some clicking in the steering column. I only ever notice it when it is dead silent so it doesn’t bother me too much.

The tensioner rattle on the other hand is driving me nuts.
