Lol. This happened last night when my friend tried to open and close the lower center console lid. Hahahahahaha.

I wonder why there’s a force sensor there....

Sort of like making wrong turns on purpose to see if you can get a rise out of your GPS?

BTW, I doubt there's a force sensor on the lid. More likely it detected that the lid closed and opened in a very short time, and so concluded that it wasn't closed "properly".

In my early days of ownership I found the message helpful. I was pushing the cover of the bin too hard and it wouldn’t close. The message informed me of the correct technique to close the bin.
