Coilovers install price

I have a set of MPP comfort coilovers and was just quotes 1080 and some change to install them. Does that seem like an accurate price? Seems high to me. Just wanted to see what the average was that people paid to get that done.

Where did you get a quote from? SoCal should be relatively inexpensive for suspension install. Definitely not $1080 and nothing special about Tesla to make to it more expensive than other cars.

Does that install include an alignment? Custom alignment? Corner balancing? $1K for a really dialed in setup would be pretty fair, $1K to slap on the coilovers and send you on your way is high. Should be about a 4-5 hour job for base install, so I doubt the shop rate is $300 an hour.

Nope just slapping them on and sending me on my way. Thank you for the replies I figured it was a high price but just wanted to be sure

Not sure where in SoCal you are but check LT Motorwerks in El Monte and European Auto Source in Anaheim.

That sounds a bit high. Coilover install should be a 3-4 hour job. Multiply that by shop rate.
