Collision question

A stupid Denali Truck with backup sensors and camera backed-in into our brand new Tesla few days ago. I have already filled a claim with ICBC and BCAA (my optional) and they said he is at fault 100%. Now with the long weekend and anticipated wait time to get my car to a body shop, should I be worried about the possible water getting into the frunk and/or front headlight assembly and cause more electrical damages? It will rain in Vancouver this week and I need my car.

i would be crying enough tears to fill the trunk. How about briefly testing it out first with a water hose and if any gets in there, vacuum it out. Based on what I see, I would say no, but try it.

Since they will have to paint it anyway, why not use good ole reliable duct tape?

I might afraid they come up with excuses that I alerted those damaged areas and cause me headaches..

I doubt water will be any issue. Worst case it might blow the fuse for the headlight (what it’s designed for). Everything else is sealed anyway.
