Got expected answers. At the end of the call asked if I get $1000 or $500 back if I change the color to black.
The ISA (Jen) said they have recently rolled out a new "Edit Design" interface, and that currently there is no charge for making changes. I did not quite get if she was trying to tell me that for a limited time there is no charge or that their new process eliminates the charge.
So go ahead, change the color to black, remove AP, or tweak something else.
Maybe this is old news, forgive me. Also, if you have evidence to the contrary, let us know and complain to Tesla, because ISA Jen said it should be free.
