Here is my guess:
There will be three packages available in the configurator (basic, premium, performance). The premium configuration will have the earliest available ship date. Followed by performance and finally by basic. This will show that they have a $35,000 configuration, but you will face a delay in ordering it.
This is partially based on information from model three owners club where Trevor had an inside source that said that all wheel drive and performance would show up after Rear wheel Drive and the base version would ship last. He had said this prior to Elon's statement that all wheel drive and performance would not be available at first. This seems to legitimize his source.
Also, based on Elon's statement that there would be very few options and an earlier statement by Elon that highly optioned vehicles would come first.
