Congratulations! Your Model Y is almost ready

Messages are coming in rapidly now. Page changed Sunday asking for insurance and financing info. This morning I received an email saying "Once complete, we’ll schedule your Model Y for delivery when ready."

This was already done before email hit, and it is reflected on the page. It suggests things are close.

QUESTION: For those that have VINs and date, how long did it take to get your VIN and a delivery date after receiving this letter?

Ordered Red/White YP in early Sept.

My hunch is that order from CA is next week to get VIN. It seems Telsa is working in two weeks cycle and the first wave is getting their VINs matched to their configuration right now.

Tesla also might want to sell their insurance to CA orders, so we will probably be the last one getting processed (end of Q1).

I got same email a few hours ago, ordered White/White Performance on March 19th, 2019, maybe it means the White interior version started production run and next patch will be all white interior.
