Control arm - keep driving?

Quick question. I have a service appt on 12/20 for a few things including a possible control arm replacement. It has been squeaking for about a month, brought it in last week but they couldn’t reproduce the sound. It’s back and pretty consistent.

Can I keep driving it until my appt or should I keep it in the garage? Curious for those that had to deal with this repair if it will fail and break while driving.

I drove mine for a week around town before making the repairs. I don't think it will cause any issues since the part that is squeaking will be replaced.

Squeaking is fine. Broken is not.
