Credit note - what is it?

I placed an order on 31st August, applied for finance (PCP through BH), got approved, filled everything out online for delivery location etc.

When I did this I had a "Booking Invoice" and an "Order Agreement", I've logged on now and I have a "Credit Note" which is for the £2000 deposit I paid.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Standard I think, as the black horse contract is for the full amount, not full amount less £2k

Ah, so I paid the £2k deposit, I then get credited my £2k back, and then pay the full finance deposit when I collect?

The credit note is just an accounting thing where the amount is transferred from the booking fee to your order showing you've already paid 2k. When you get your invoice you then cover the difference of your deposit minus 2k.
