put a £200 deposit down on a £40590 Y RWD on Saturday. applied and was accepted for finance for PCP £0 down, £575 a month for 48 months. Got a tradein value of £32300 on my current model 3. Also got a finance settlement figure of £32535 (financed through tesla). Got a pick up date of next Wednesday.

ok so far.

I figured thats £250ish on top of my trade in, then whenver the payments start for the new PCP. Maybe a one month overlap, maybe a one month holiday depending how it lines up.

I then get an invoice from tesla. I click through assuming it'll be for the £250. Its for the £32535 settlement on the old car. I ring up tesla - oh no it'll be £250 like it says. But the invoice says I have to pay by the 10th, and I don't pick up until the 14th.

Will the final settlement just expire and I'll get another one? My paymetn normally goes on the 12th and I don't mind paying that and getting a new settlement but just wondered if anyones been here and it comes out in the wash.

confusingly looking at the 'completed tasks' none of the figures make sense:

what is the amount financed and why is it saying £43090? On the original application is says £40590, interest is £5k (ouch) but nothing adds up to £43090. Does that final amount mean they'll pay me £35k but I settle my car for £32500 and have £2500 back for some reason? Is that why the finance amount seems wrong?
