Ah ok, didn't know it was subcontracted I thought they just made recommendations. Overall they have been awful to deal with, never returning calls, telling me they don't know when they will have an installation date or when the date will be and then changing dates at the last minute before...
My Rolec was meant to be installed today, after rescheduling the installation twice with the installers previously. I called them at 9 after they were meant to arrive at 8, told me the installer was sick today and they'd get back to me with a new installation date.
After 4 phone calls, the best...
I've been using ABRP a lot recently, but have found that it now always shows depart charge at 90%, regardless of what its set to in the settings.
This is with being logged in, logged out, different browsers on different platforms.
Has anyone seen similar and knows of a fix for this?
The...
I've had my Model 3 for about 2 weeks now, I've noticed the right hand side door (drivers side on RHD) makes a strange rattle when closing it. All the other doors close with the normal "thunk" sound but this one has a tinny/rattle sound to it when closing. This happens with the window up or...
Just to chime in, I ordered 31/08 and delivery 25/09 M3P. No frunk mat, when I asked at delivery they said it was optional extra you had to pay for.
As I've already given Tesla a big chunk of my money, I figured I'd buy a 3rd party one from AF!
No idea sorry, I stopped at South Mimms on the way home from West Drayton, "cost" was £9 but it hasn't been billed and not subtracted from my balance either.
Has it appeared in your account? I charged up on the way back as well and whilst it shows on the screen in the car it's not appeared in my Tesla account
Apparently all new Model 3s also come with free supercharging for the first 48 hours to help folks get home. Would make sense as I have had two SC visits in 48 hours and not been charged or had my 1000 miles depleted
I was actually really surprised when I collected today. Car on latest software, clean, only 2 minor misalignments which were fixed in a few minutes, free supercharge miles in a loot box, right spec, and everything!
I had this, a new e-mail came through from them. Called and it's because BH quote has to be the full OTR price, not including government grant. However, when Tesla was doing applications they were doing OTR including government grant.
The way BH are doing it now is exactly that - full OTR price...
I picked up from WD today at 1200. The group introduction started a few minutes late, and laster 20 minutes with some Q&A time. It then got a little chaotic with delivery advisors shouting peoples names who's cars were ready. I was on time and started looking over it at 1230, spent a further 25...
I know that Spotify and TuneIn are included with the premium interior, the question is do you need to login with a Spotify/TuneIn premium account or does it just "work" from the car?
Yes, the major difference is backloading on PCP, you need a smaller deposit but then that becomes the optional balloon payment at the end. In terms of what is best for you, only you can make the decision!
If you go through Tesla finance which is done by Black Horse you'll be 4.9% APR.
Between HP and PCP this article gives a good overview - PCP vs HP – what's the difference?
With a lease, you do deposit and monthly payments, but then have to give the car back at the end. Tesla only offers PCP or...
NP, I had a panic when I saw it come through as my monthly payments went up by ~£150. The bloke at BH was fantastic at explaining it all after we figured out what had happened. The way it SHOULD work is:
BH PCP quote shows total OTR price, excluding government grant
Your deposit = whatever you...
I called the number on their website 0344 824 8888
They confirmed that the monthlies and GFV were the same as per my original application, and the e-mail I received was incorrect. Apparently the problem is due to the system Tesla use called CodeWeavers not being compatible with Black Horses...
Is it £3500 more expensive by any chance? I had the exact same, called them and it's because the OTR price needs to reflect the full price of the vehicle excluding government grant. The monthlies and GFV were the same, just the OTR price had changed.
Have you called BH / Tesla to ask?
I got an email which was from “codeweavers” with BlackHorse logo at the top.
It’s all very confusing, I am thinking about just signing the docs at WD and then figuring it out later if it’s wrong!
After 30 minutes on the phone I think I have it figured out.
According to BH the OTR price is £54,440, as they do not include the government grant, however they have my deposit + £3500 as the down payment. They have confirmed monthlies are the same, as is GFV, and it looks like it’s just the...
I'm purchasing through BH PCP, had everything agreed at the end of August. I got an e-mail about 30 minutes ago and the OTR price of the car has gone up £3500 so it looks like they have missed off the government grant.
On the phone to them to try and resolve, but has anyone else come across this?
This is a good one from AutoExpress - Best winter tyres 2018: tyre brands reviewed and UK prices compared
It's from 2018, but compares a number of winter tyres to an All Season and Summer tyre. Whilst it may sound obvious, the summer tyre performs very well in all categories where there isn't...
That's the problem with virtually all tyre tests, they are incredibly subjective. This is why I put little trust in the "MyTyres" or "TyreReviews" sites and what they show as it's Joe public giving an opinion. I'm happy to take recommendations from Evo/AutoExpress etc as they do these tests in a...
That is an interesting development, reports from Zeebrugge were that no RHD cars were offloaded, but it's unverified. However, it would make sense to drop RHD off directly into the UK if Zeebrugge is at capacity and Glovis Courage is due in a couple of hours.
Also minimises risk for Brexit as...
Summer tyres all year round, but we rarely see snow and I live in a fairly large town so roads are gritted frequently.
Although winter tyres, or something like the crossclimate, are good in snow, the 7C number is often banded about in a way that it's this cut off point, below which summer tyres...
The nearest supercharger is ~40 miles away and I work remotely so rarely go into our office. There are some 3rd party CCS chargers within 5 miles which I could use
Hi folks
My Model 3 is arriving a bit ahead of schedule so I'll need to survive on UK 3-pin (230v @ 10a) charging for about 2 weeks. The socket I'd be using is located in the garage and runs on a dedicated 32A breaker with just a dryer connected to it, and was re-wired 4 years ago so I'm...
Just to add I paid my remaining balance today via BACS and it's appeared in my source code within 4 hours of sending it. Just need to sort out insurance and I'll be ready to collect next Wednesday!
I've been doing some digging here (if this gets too technical, sorry!). The important parts are done as a JSON document, top layer is "Tesla.ProductF". There are three objects within here, "Labels", "Data", and "ShopBlocks" and it's only "Data" which has info about your specific RN/order.
Data...
