Now that the Cybertruck launch event has occurred, I thought it might be good to start a Hawaii specific thread on reactions, who's keeping their reservations, what trim level, etc.
For me, I placed my reservation the weekend after the initial introduction event in 2019. I initially had a dual motor reservation, then changed it to a tri-motor about three weeks later.
Now that we have the pricing and final details on range, as much as I'd love to get a Cyber Beast, I think I'm going to have to step back down to the "AWD" dual motor trim now once it's my turn to place an order. The price increase, tax credit eligibility and range are the deciding factors., assuming all the rest of the features are consistent between the dual motor AWD and CyberBeast.
Perhaps in 2-3 years I can turn in the AWD and upgrade to the Beast mode....
