I don't believe most Tesla owners drive like a regular person. They may think they do... but...

I think this is the true reality.

I've had a few times where I drove my usual routes conservatively for energy savings and noticed I had never went around certain corners so slow even though that's the speed most others drivers do. At least for me, I default to accelerating and cornering a significant bit faster and it became the norm.

I’m at 41k miles on my 2018 Performance, and they’ve obviously got a ways to go. No doubt I’ll hit 50k or more on the original 20” Michelin AS 4s. I admit I get on it every so often. But I drive conservatively most of the time and my results have been great.

I’m at 34k on my stock PS4S. 6/32 tread left. I see no reason they won’t break 35k miles. I let the car drive most of the time.

“Chill” mode is known as boring mode in my household.

Sadly, I replaced my OEM tires at 10k miles... feathering and inside tread wear on the fronts plus vibration. Alignment, Road Force Balance, new tires. Still not sure if it's as smooth as it was for the first 5k miles.

I believe that's the "tread warranty" on the tires. If they're worn below a certain threshold in a short enough period of time, they'll give you a discount on the next pair. Excludes uneven wear or any other issues caused by "not the tires".

On the Michelin website you can submit a tread warranty claim through livechat. They'll give you a case number and local authorized dealers you can make an appointment with who'll measure your tread, miles, and submit to Michelin. I did this a few weeks ago but still haven't heard back though.

I got my new Michelins from Costco who isn't an authorized dealer but they said if they accept the warranty I can submit my Costco order and they'll still reimburse part of what I paid for the new tires.

I got a little over 32K on my OEM Michelin 20s on my P3D+. Switched to Yokohama Advan Apex V601 in the same size. After 2500 miles on the Yokohama s I would say a tad below the Michelins performance wise but quieter in my opinion.
