Delivery date pushed back - "more thorough inspection.."

I had a delivery date of march 25th scheduled for a pickup of a Blue MY performance +. I spoke with the delivery center today, although the vehicle is on site they are now claiming it will take them nearly a full week to inspect and detail the vehicle. They are stating that the MYs require a more detailed and thorough process.

Has this happened to anyone else? Sounds like they're stalling to me but I can't imagine why.

There is another thread where people are reporting delays due to a rear seat issue, possibly the rear seats not being aligned properly.

that stinks when you are apart of the initial first few thousand deliveries. Going to be issues that are fixed with later batches. This happened with the S, X, 3 too.

Yes, I was scheduled for delivery for the 19th and pushed to the 25th with the exact same reason of a more "through inspection needed".

Might be due to the rear seat not being aligned, I've seen a few pictures with the rear seat not aligned.
