Delivery Quality Issues

Took deliver of my MY on Friday June 5th. The overall experience was great. There were a few quality issues which I will need to have fixed. Loose upper trim panel on driver's side b-pillar. 1" white swirl patter in the paint on the hood. It looks to be below the clear coat.

Make sure you have it fully documented and emailed to your delivery team for due bill. You have 100 miles to report all paint issues otherwise they might not fix it.

Hah yes what a joke. Its been 1 week and still waiting for approval from Tesla to certified body shop for repairs. I am not taking anything less than a touch up. The body shop I want it sent to will repair it as it was factory new or better.

Its a near perfect car, besides the paint issues. I hope they will do the right thing. I cannot imagine they wouldn't. Its just a time consuming process, I want to apply PPF but I need the repairs done first. Waiting game now.

Thank you for sharing. Now I know what to look for when I pick up mine. I went to a shop today to get quotes for PPF and tint and they said they wanted to see the car first. They have rejected a few M3s and told the customer to have Tesla fix the paint before they’ll work on it.
