Its always been my opinion there is something missing about the look of the Model 3 front end.
I considered several designs, in keeping with the minimalist theme of the car. This is one still appeals to me
after several weeks of looking at it. View attachment 437447

The reason the Model 3 doesn’t have grills, and lips, and air "intakes" on the front end is because they create drag and reduce range. Even the little frunk lip on the Model S creates some drag which is why the Model 3 doesn’t even have that.
No! its not intended to be stuck on with tape. It would be attached with threaded bolt washer and nut, and does not have to be chrome. Is that a huge strip of chrome forming the grimace on your rendered model 3?
So you like the Model 3 front end better than the 2020 Roadster front end......Yikes!Not to me. I cannot improve on what Franz and his team created. They are design wizards!
WTF is that?View attachment 437736

I think its in recognition that European License plates are not optional and hence provide a flat place for mounting them.View attachment 437727
Wow I’m joking can’t believe someone would respond like I’m for real lolThat's not going to help except for very low speed collision. In high speed collisions it would likely make it worse as a hard bar like that would prevent the crumple zones of the car from doing their job properly.
