Developer API?

Wasn’t there supposed to be a dev api kit released a while back?

Do you mean for third party applications? The Tesla API has been around for quite awhile.
I'll assume the former and I'd love to hear about that as well. Musk mentioned it way back in 2012 and then he backtracked and said would move to app mirroring. We know how well that went.
Then he mentioned it again early last summer (SDK not app mirroring) but said for it to be worthwhile for developers, there would have to be more cars on the road. I'd love to see more music services and maybe some performance oriented applications. I personally haven't heard anything but would be surprised to see it before the next big software revision (version 11 hopefully?).

It was certainly promised/expected back in 2013. Haven't heard it mentioned 'officially' since then
