Hey everyone, just looking for clarification on whether or not the recent +5% power increase firmware boosted the top end speed for the Performance edition to 162mph from 155mph?

Cheers,

Did it also include to speed increase on p3d-?
I doubt it because of the tires but just curious.
Tires are a fleeting thing because after the first set is gone no one can count on what owners will put on next so it has always been the owner's responsibility to get the correct tire speed rating for the speed they foresee driving at.

My guess is that yes the speed increase was given to P3D- because the software no longer needs to be forked between P+ and P-. Crippling the software on the P- was a marketing decision to push the 5K add-on. Since that no longer exists, the add-on being included in the single P model available now for less than the P- price at that time, it makes sense to have a single software version for all P cars going forward.
