Differences between EAP and Full self driving?

So Tesla today removed the $5000 EAP upgrade from their website and replaced it a $3000 autopilot followed by an additional $5000 full self driving upgrade if you've bought the $3000 autopilot upgrade. This brings the total to $8000. However there are some feature that are in the full self driving upgrade that EAP already has such as summon and navigate on autopilot. So did Tesla just split EAP into 2 different things and bring the price up to $8,000?

But they also lowered the price of the AWD's.

At least in Belgium (Europe) they did.

Model 3 AWD base price before today's announcement : 58.800 EUR

Now (after) : 55.600 EUR

So 3200 EUR difference, which they get back if you take autopilot.
So the price in Belgium stays the same after all... Hope they open the RWD Model 3 orders in Europe soon.

The price for both EAP and FSD was always $8000 total (pre purchase).

They just reversed the price on the two and moves some features from EAP (renaming it AP) into FSD.

This addresses all the folks who kept whining "I'd definitely buy EAP just for TACC if it was a little cheaper" while keeping the total price for those wanting FSD the same.

Especially relevant since they launched the cheaper models, so folks might pay the 3k for the lesser-featured AP who wouldn't drop 5k on EAP.

Yes they moved some EAP features over to the “new” FSD so they could offer vanilla AP for $3k. EAP features are grandfathered per EM.
