Do different model years of the Model S have different UI interfaces? I ask because I have been recent YouTube videos showing what looks like older UIs in the S. I would think that Tesla would keep the UI uniform in all model years via updates.
As far as I know, there's a different UI for pre-auto pilot cars and those Manufactured after they launched auto pilot. The differing UIs are kind of a necessity for the differing capabilities of the car.
The only major difference is on the dashboard. For non-AP cars, the center dashboard is a round speedometer - for AP cars, the center dashboard has the car icon and a display of the lanes/vehicles ahead. Because the AP cars don't have the current energy consumption displayed on the center speedometer, the dashboard energy graph is also displayed differently between AP and non-AP cars.
Other than that, really don't see any obvious changes between our 2012 S P85 and our 2017 S 100D.
