Bought one in early 2016 in preparation for a trip thru Oregon, Washington, and B.C. which is CHAdeMO country. Ended up never using it but the peace-of-mind was, well, priceless.
Now my daughter uses it when traveling to Park City, UT where she visits friends. She can avoid having to drive to SLC for the supercharger and the EVgo is walking distance from her friend’s place. So it can come in handy but the convenience is a bit pricey. However, in the future she’ll probably plug into a nearby J-1772.
