Does anybody adjust their charging amps using app?

Good thought but isn’t the full 48A draw already well below potential. Superchargers are quite a bit more powerful.

Super chargers don't use the onboard charger, which is sized for 48A. Components get hot, heat cycling wears things out.

To be honest, it's just a guess, 48A all the time is probably fine. I don't need 48 ever, so it's no big deal to run at 32. It also seems to run the cooling less at 32, but that's also just a feeling, no data to prove it.
