Does Anyone DO Maintenance on the Connections?

At times removing the supplied power cord from the car is sticky. Does anyone use lubricant on the connections? If so, success? Recommendations? Does anyone lightly sand (very fine grit) the connection to remove any burrs from being dropped or banging around truck? Any advice

Do NOT lubricate.
(contamination, compatibility, conductivity issues)

Most of the charging connections are designed specifically for the use that they are in, as such, the number of connection cycles and wear and tear profiles are built in to the connectors. Many folks have used their plugs for years with no maintenance, and many Superchargers have also been in service for years with heavy usage.

If you were to use something, realize that you need to provide dielectric properties of over a few thousand volts, as charging voltages can be significant.
