Does the financing choice affect delivery time?

This is probably a long shot given how new the lease option is for the MY, but does anyone know whether your choice of payment (i.e., cash, loan, or lease) has any effect on the processing/delivery timeframe?

I doubt that. At least for finance or cash, Tesla get full price before handle a car to you. Whether check will come from bank or a person not relevant.

I did a partial finance through my bank (USAA) and it didn't seem to affect the delivery time. Was 4-8 weeks when I ordered and have a delivery appt for 8/27 which will put order to delivery time at 5 weeks, right in the expected time frame.

I really don't think so. My SO and I have separate accounts. My order from June of last year with $2,500 deposit, and recently filling out and being approved for Tesla financing, has gone no where. Never had a single text or communication. My SO's account, order from May of this year, who has never filled out any financial information, has had texts for delivery months ago (which she delayed), and just got another text for 3-7 week delivery. She wants to delay, I want my order. It's quite fustrating.
