Some poor Volt owner was told to get their ICE engine replaced.

It was out of warranty and they were looking for options.

I said it wasn’t worth the time, effort and just go get a 35K SR.

I was told it was mythical and no one has gotten one.

ORLY? Not only did I get one l, I was irritated by one.

Irritated after 4 days of SR ownership.

Tesla has it off menu for a reason - they rather not sell it. So it baffles me there are still fence sitters for this stupid cheap car.

The knowledge accessible to TMC users should not be taken by granted and I encourage people to let their friends know and get in while they still can.

HA!!! 35K USD?!?!?! Rip off...

Try $23820 US dollar equivalent.

Tesla sells a $44999 Canadian dollar Model 3.
Subtract Quebec $8000 and Federal $5000 rebates.

Electric Vehicle Incentives

If you’re ok with 150km range...

A base Tesla in Quebec is cheaper than a Smart ED in Ontario.
Boom!
For once, you Canadians have my envy.

I assumed they had it off-menu because it wasn't profitable for them to sell it. I bought an SR+ in late June and had them back out the software upgrades for a $5K discount, and it went pretty smoothly. Seems like everybody buying the same/similar car as mine but with software upgrades was subsidizing my purchase.
