Thanks, I appreciate the detail! Interesting how only one door handle is available for calibration. The others aren't the right version.

I only got my 2015 last year. But that's how mine is too apparently they're right rear is a Gen 3 The rest are still 2.1

Correct. Tesla will only replace the entire door handle assembly for about $300. If it's just the paddle gear that is broken they sell it $6 but you will have to replace it yourself.

I had a problem recently with the door handle not presenting but, this time it was not a cracked gear… If you listen closely when it’s a cracked gear, you can hear the motor spinning but, this time there was no spinning motor and when I pressed the door handle, the door opened…
The fix:
I needed to open the service menu and calibrate the door handle.
If someone needs any more help let me know and I hope this helps someone!

I have a problem with my front passenger door handle not presenting. I don’t hear any sounds coming from the handle.

@.Lemos I don’t know if it’s related, but it happened right after the last update. What is the issue if I don’t hear sounds coming from the handle? If I press on the door handle, the door opens. The handle just doesn’t present and I’ve got auto present on the handles. In settings.

Tesla mobile service wants over $400 for mobile service to fix this. My car is a 2018 Model S 100 D and it only has about 33,000 miles.

Yep - 4 finger reboot and regular reboot. Nothing.
