2015 75D, 80K miles so far. When should I replace that fluid?

They used to recommend it be done with the first year service. I don’t think that’s the case any more... now it’s just “as needed”.

I did take it in for first-year annual service. I assumed it was done then.

They did mine at the 7 year (87,500 miles). I don't know if it had been done before with the previous owner, but that showed up. Was just part of that annual service.

I'm 8 months into ownership with 16,000 miles. I'm about to schedule service to have a few things done and have been contemplating them performing a flush. Is everyone's idea of flushing out the break in period on par with my idea of an early oil change on newer cars? Or is it just a waste of money and not to worry about it?

I just got a new motor, I asked about gearbox. Serviceman said I got a new gearbox . I asked about oil change, he said one yr on new box, then 100k. Per my service center.
