Indeed - and for the cost (and power requirements!) of a couple of rapid chargers you could get quite a lot of cheap 7kw chargers, to the point where you don't have to rush back to your car after 30 mins or feel guilty occupying a charging spot for a couple of hours as there'd be more than enough to go round.
And maybe they could even make them free vend to the point where you didn't have to bother faffing round with an app, just plug in and wonder off to the shops...
