It has to be put in service before the change. (Which means delivery and state titling.)

Fortunately we're three days into March and I haven't heard of anything being announced yet. No news is good news for folks still waiting to take delivery.

I actually did google and found some new articles from two days ago and thought something got updated.

Does it apply the day of the notification (unlikely imho), or day after(possible), or first working day after (if they release on a Friday)? There is so much ambiguity, it is annoying.

I've tried all sources and the more I search, the more confusing it is getting.

Believe me, when the IRS updates the guidelines, you'll see if all over the place, including on the Tesla website.

not sure about state titling. that would exclude 3/31 deliveries, at least in AZ

While that is encouraging, I must take those statements as the author's opinions until I see confirmation in writing on a government website. :) Agreed, but I've wondered if the government will actually do any verification as the manufacturers will probably be certifying whether their vehicles...
