Yeah, I've seen a number of photo's of very large trees that have hit square on the top of M3's and Y's. It's amazing how tough they really are!

There was one in china where a huge concrete wall had fallen on a whole line of cars. Every car was pretty much flattened except for a Model Y sitting right in the middle and looking like anyone in side would have been absolutely fine.

Another question answered.

One of the cats has a habit of getting on the roof of the house. It’s her safe space when spooked by a dog or whatever. Getting up there is easy for her. Getting down, not so much. She gets to the edge of the gutter and jumps to the roof of my car, a Honda Accord. No damage so far.

So now I know that a MY roof can take the impact of a 6 pound kitty.
