Feature request - Subforum status from home page

Is there any way to color-code the status of subforums on the home page (red if new posts)?

For instance, the "North American" forum gets a red dot if there are any new posts in that forum or any subforums (grey if no new posts). But the subforum icons are always black. I'd like those to indicate new post status (red/grey) if possible.

I never read the other regions, just "New England". As it stands, I need to click on New England to see if there are any new posts, vs a quick glance from the home screen, like I could with the old forum. Thanks.

Oh, and I'll add - while I didn't like the changes at first, I'm coming around. I'm especially happy with the increased usability on my phone. I tried tapatalk in the past, but it just annoyed me for some reason.
