Finally picking up my plaid Monday…

So I actually took delivery of my ’22 Plaid on December 14th, but I have been extremely patient not to drive it, as I could not get it into Dream Wraps here in Cincinnati to get it wrapped and ceramic coated to my liking until this past week. Car is solid black base coat, however I wrapped it in teckwrap Gunsmoke Gray, which is a matte/metallic finish. Had them do the tesla emblems in carbon fiber and kept the black trim. They tinted the windows, ceramic coated and smoked out the lights as well.

Also had them put on new 20” Vossen HF-5s in Satin black, which I cant wait to see how they look. The dude from dream wraps sent me the teaser pic below and said it is the best looking Tesla they’ve done (they probably say that to everyone, but whatever, I cant wait to see it).

Finally pick it up Monday! Will post more pictures then

I bought these: HF-5 - Vossen Wheels (satin black “20s) for winter
I also splurged and have these ordered for summer (“21s, supposed to be delivered in April): EVO-4 (3-Piece) - Vossen Wheels

$5400 was total cost for everything I had done with tax

Only thing I was somewhat bummed about was they couldn’t get the plaid badge back on…the plaid letters are tiny individual parts, it isn’t all one piece…I might see if tesla service center here in Cincy can get them back on for me, they did save the letters in a little baggy for me

Other than that I love how it turned out!

Congrats! I, too, had the car for almost 2 months patiently waiting for my wrap appointment. It was worth the wait!

I also decided not to have them put the rear T or the PLAID emblems on the back... I actually think it looks pretty clean!

The later pictures you uploaded look more warm and don't look as great.

Wheels look fantastic too! I guess the car is raised in these shots? What are the specs on the wheels?

The yellow calipers look really nice too!

Yeah good observation, I agree the photos I took kind of suck lol. It is the lighting in my garage. It is definitely not as warm looking as you mention. It’s is a metallic matte gray/silver color. I’m going to go down there and clean it a bit in a minute, the snow on the ground here got it pretty dirty on the drive home, I will get another picture or two taken after

And yes the suspension was on “very high”, I have it auto set on that when I pull into my driveway because it’s on a bit of an incline…will lower it when I take the next pictures

Wheels are 20’s 8.5/9.5
