More difficult to plan for that. I live almost 4 hours from my nearest SC, so not like I can pick it up over lunch.

Agreed. Also pretty dumb to include "today" in the EDD. Zero chance of that ever happening - and I live @ 1 1/2 hours from the SC and 3 hours from the. factory.

My exact vehicle order and I also live about 30 minutes without traffic from Fremont HQ. You could be my neighbor!

Unfortunately though, my order date is 9/18. My current EDDX (I stopped counting): is 12/4 - 12/22. So it looks like I am a single day in front of you in spite of ordering over a month earlier!

Interesting looking at your EDD's - always this year. My order was 3 days later and had much wilder swings including next year. Until is has now settled down in line with yours. And then looking at Potterton who ordered a month before us, is a single day earlier of range. The common denominator is we are all in Northern California. My delivery being to Sacramento (Rocklin) a little further north.

Est delivery: Dec 2-8

Question: there is a tab on Final Payment(Make your final payment to avoid delay). I’m paying with cashier check from my bank account. Do I just leave that alone or do I have to speak to an SA to let them know that?

Picked up the car yesterday. Tesla at its best….no quality control. Brand new car with a loose trim. I accepted it cause everything checked out fine. They gonna do a mobile service and replace this broken trim

Hmmm.... At this point I'm debating about the vacation hold as soon as I get my vin anyways since we are so close to 2024. You may be the next one on the list given you are only two days later with the exact same model!

My guess is they'll wait for 2024 vins when they know that they'll be delivered in 2024. I think that's due to the 2023 tax credit changing in 2024 for certain Model 3's and maybe other Teslas.

They don't want people cancelling their orders, hoping for a 2024 instead. This might be the new normal.

The 5K price increase made that a non-option for most people I suspect...
If I use a vacation hold and come back up for a new VIN on January 1st 2024, is there anything preventing Tesla from passing around another 2023 model of still in inventory?
Will we all be engaging in a battle of the vacation holds?

I expect my VIN the day after they switch to 2024 model year ……….or is it the day before?

Vin is a 2023

EDD6 - vin assigned on 11/28/23, with a 12/8-12/18 date

EDD 7- vin assigned on 11/28/23, with a 12/6-12/15 date (updated on 12/4/23)

PF426 VIN. Waiting to pick up in Houston. How long has it taken between VIN assignment and delivery window opening? Tesla advisors have told me different things so I am unsure who to believe.
